About
A small Houston studio that says the price.
We design and build websites for local businesses, and we put prices, dates and ownership terms where you can read them.

Crystal River Designs is a web design studio in Houston. We make websites, online stores, landing pages and logos, and we look after sites once they're live.
We started with a simple complaint. Owners shop around for a website, and most agencies answer with 'it depends' and a proposal that arrives next week. We think you should see a price and a date before you talk to anyone.
So we publish both. Each package lists its price, what's included, what isn't and how long it takes. If your project is bigger than a package, we'll tell you why and quote it in writing.
We're a small studio, which means you talk to the people doing the work.
If we can't put it in writing, we shouldn't promise it.
What we believe
-
Say the price.
Cost shouldn't be a secret you have to earn.
-
Keep the promise small.
We'd rather commit to a date we can meet than one that sounds good.
-
Hand it over.
The work is yours. We build things you can run without us.

How we work
Small projects, clear scopes and short feedback loops. You'll get a private preview link early, and updates at each step. You'll never need to decode a jargon-filled email. When we use a technical term, we explain it.
